I am working on a factory system. It has no sound output. replaced head unit, amplifier with working test units, I dont know what else to look for. fuses are good.
Wiring is good. I also checked for power at the amp. It is getting power and the amp turn on wire is also good. is there any other troubleshooting tips that I can try.
In my E36 when i disconnect any one part of the sound system (ie speakers, CD changer) the whole system fails to produce sound. No power to head unit until all is reconnected. Found this out while swapping in new rear shocks because i had to disconnect the speakers and cd changer.
