It seems my heater and ac unit infront of my shifter "Chirps about once every 1min or so. I crank the radio so I don't hear it.
Kidding aside, when my radio is off, the chirp happens about every 1-2 minutes.
it's just noticible enough to make you nuts about an hour into the ride.
If you have any experience with this please help me enjoy my ride again...
It is more then likley your blower motor making the noise. I have a E32 740i (93) and it does this from time to time, not much you can do but either put up with it or change out your blower motor and that is a job.. Your Choice..

Another thing to consider is the interior temperature sampler fan in the IHKA control panel. I think this is more common and from the way you described the problem I have a feeling this is it. here is a link to what I am talking about... #4 in the diagram
