My wife's 740I has been giving me an error code for the SRS system saying "Seatbelt Buckle, driver's side" I can reset it, but it comes back on shortly. Is there anyway to eset the buckle switch itself?
the contacts inside the seatbelt receptacle have failed, this is a common problem. The only fix is to replace the seatbelt. Not the actual belt but the receptacle which it plugs into.
