1993 740i

Hi everyone, my 1st post. I recently purchased a 93 740i 122,000 miles. I saw the carfax and the owner had it serviced every 3,000 miles. It also had 2 transmission services.
Anyways last Friday coming home from work it started making noises from the middle to the rear, noises may have been more from vibrations. It is like a da da da da noise. Even louder when I turn and hit the gas. Does the same thing in every gear. I dont think it's the trany. Is there some time of mount that may have come losse that would cause this.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'd check the guibo (rubber disk type of thing that interfaces the tranny and driveshaft), as well as the diff. I can't really see a reason you'd hear any thumping from the tranny from the rear end.

Thanks Torque!
I was wondering if anyone was going to respond. I will have time today to jack her up and look around. I know I will end up having to take it to a shop sooner or later. Damn I still have the temp tags on her.
