1990 735i shifting problem

hey guys i got a problem here with my 735i...the last week here in chicago it has been pretty darn cold...anyhow since its been this cold my bmw has a problem shifting into 3rd gear...its an AT, but anyhow it goes to shift into third at about 2500 rpms and then its like it jerks a lil bit and then finally shifts into third at about 3000-3200 rpms...any suggestions? i checked the fluid and its good and full...im gettting a little nervous about this one guys gimme some help...thanks and merry xmas to everyone

How many miles? It may need a fluid change.

it has 191k miles...it has been maintained flawlessly...do i want to chance changing the fluid with that many miles?

Well actually, I have heard that there are issues after a point.

well for what i payed for the car,even if i have to put a tranny in it i think i'd still be good... so i think tommorrow im gonna go have the fluid and filter changed.... anyone got a ballpark as to how much a tranny install would be??
