1985 635 headlights to buy?

hey im wanted to upgrade to hid light bulbs i just need to know the type and style of bulb to buy (h1) ect ? i posted this for my buddy cause there a christmas gift so sorry i dont even know the basics on beemers im a Ford guy bahaha thanks guys!

Since the OEM on a 1985 would have been a quad set of sealed beams, I'd Google 'sealed beam to HID' - I'm sure you'll find a ton of options.

Yeah, that doesn't surprise me. I'd research on the names for quality reps.

hey so do u know what make of lights the car takes like (h1,h2,9006 ect) thanks i found a site that sells converson kits so ya dont have to buy a completly new housing

Well the 'h' series types are the older halogen type I think; contact the makers of HID for details as you do the research by name for quality reps
