1976 3.3li - Help Determining Value

Hello everyone,

I'm considering buying a 1976 3.3Li from someone, but I would like to get some feedback on the price/value of this car. Let me give you some additional details:

Year: 1976
Model: 3.3Li (4-door sedan, extended wheelbase)
Milage: 63000 miles (not a typo)
Transmission: 4-spd manual
Interior: Leather, very good condition (minimal cracking)
Paint: Blue, repainted 20 years ago and in very good shape
Rust: essentially none

Mechanicals: engine runs well, does not consume excessive fluids or leak anything, shifts smoothly, brakes fine.

I've attached an image of the vehicle. Seller is asking $10k, but I think that's a bit high. I expect to be able to get him down some, but not significantly below $9k. Is he asking too much, or is that reasonable for an "antique" BMW?

I will appreciate any comments.
