123d Coupe with Sequenziale gear...???

Hi all

Hope some can help me.

I am looking at a 123d Coupe with Sequenziale gear.

Just reading the add and information on it, but what is a Sequenziale gear box? Same as a SMG? Or????

Hope some can help me with some information

Cheers

Correct me if I'm wrong, SMG stands for Sequential Manual Gearbox, not to be confused with the current Double Clutch type gearbox. I thought SMG's were only available with the more powerful engines eg M3. M6, ?35 twin turbo engines etc.

In any event, wouldn't you rather have a normal, fully manual gear box? The 123d is available with a proper 6 speed.

Hi

Hi

Thanks for the reply and info.

So, it is the same as the SMG. A manual gear box, with a "automatic" mode.

Maybe a normal manual is a better way to go.....
