I was wondering about getting the integrated ipod adapter for my 7. I saw it on bmwusa accessories for 335, but does it just plug in like in my infiniti? or does BMW have to install it? any info would be appreciated! thank you !

I purchased the OEM adapter for my I Phone and it works fine for the phone. However, I haven't been able to get the music side of the system to adapt to the vehicle.
